What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that supports balance across your body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in ancient Japanese traditions, Reiki comes from two words:


  • Rei – Universal or spiritual wisdom 
  • Ki – Life force energy (like Qi in Chinese medicine or Prana in yogic tradition)
     

Together, Reiki translates to “universal life energy.” This energy flows through all living things—and when it's flowing freely, you feel more connected, calm, and whole. But when it becomes blocked by stress, trauma, or the wear and tear of everyday life, you may feel stuck, depleted, anxious, or overwhelmed. Reiki helps clear those blockages and bring you back into alignment with your natural state of wellbeing.


The Reiki practitioner serves as a conduit for this healing energy, gently guiding it through their hands into your energy field. Your body knows where it’s needed most. Reiki simply supports the healing that’s already within you.

What to expect during a Reiki session

 A Reiki session is a deeply restful, restorative experience—often described as calming, grounding, and even transformative. You’ll lie down fully clothed, while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above your body. Reiki can be offered in person or virtually, with equally powerful results.


No two sessions are ever the same, because you are never quite the same. Reiki meets you exactly where you are, responding to what your system needs most in the moment.


People often report:

  • A sense of warmth or gentle energy movement
  • A meditative, dreamlike state of peace 
  • Emotional release and lightness 
  • Subtle insights or perspective shifts 
  • A feeling of being seen, held, and supported

Reset, Realign, Rise Session

 

This is more than just a Reiki session—it’s a return to your center. A remembering of what’s already whole within you.


We begin with a 15-minute conversation over Zoom or phone. This is your space to share what’s moving through you—stress, stuck energy, emotional weight, or just a vague sense that something’s “off.” Nothing is too big or too small. I’m here to hold space, listen deeply, and tune in.


Then, you’ll settle in and relax while I channel Reiki for 30 minutes. This is where the shift happens. As I work intuitively with your energy body, we clear what’s no longer serving you, dissolve blocks, and support your system in finding balance, ease, and clarity.


In the final 15 minutes, I’ll gently bring you back and share any insights, sensations, or intuitive messages that came through. You might also notice your own inner knowing waking up—guidance rising quietly from within.


You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, more connected. Not fixed—because you’re not broken—but restored to more of who you already are.
